The information you provide is being collected by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) pursuant to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and in accordance with the Policy on Communications and Federal Identity because you have expressed an interest in receiving more information from IRCC about the International Experience Canada (IEC) program.
The collection, use, disclosure and retention of your personal information are in accordance with the Privacy Act.
Your personal information (email address) will only be used for the purpose of sending you information related to the IEC program or for a use consistent with that purpose.
IRCC will not disclose your personal information to any other third party or government department. The standard Personal Information Bank PSU 914 (entitled Public Communications) further describes the collection, use, disclosure and retention of your personal information.
Providing your information is voluntary and you can unsubscribe from IRCC communications about the IEC program at any time. However, if you do not provide the requested information or if you unsubscribe in the future, we will be unable to contact you with information related to the IEC program as part of this email sign-up process.
You have the right to access and correct your personal information under the Privacy Act. A request for access to personal information shall be made in writing to IRCC. If you are not satisfied with how IRCC handles your personal information, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
