Public consultation on the draft 2026-2029 Federal Sustainable Development Strategy
The Government of Canada is seeking public feedback and comments on the draft 2026-2029 Federal Sustainable Development Strategy (FSDS).
The Federal Sustainable Development Act provides the legal framework for the FSDS. It requires the Minister of Environment and Climate Change to table a new Strategy every 3 years. Each draft FSDS must be released for a 120-day public consultation.
The 2026 to 2029 FSDS will be Canada’s sixth Strategy. It sets out the Government of Canada’s sustainable development goals, targets, and implementation strategies, taking a whole-of-government approach.
This survey contains 9 questions, and your participation is voluntary. Your answers will remain anonymous and the information you provide will be administered according to the requirements of the Privacy Act, the Access to Information Act, and any other pertinent legislation.
