2026 Jasper residents and seasonal staff camping application
From May 6 to October 12, 2026, Parks Canada has set aside 51 campsites at Whistlers Campground and 20 campsites at Sleepy Hollow. This camping program provides long-term camping for Jasper residents and businesses unable to find housing for their staff, as a result of the 2024 Jasper Wildfire.
The allocation of campsites will be determined by the Jasper Recovery Coordination Centre (JRCC) using a priority matrix tool developed for interim housing.
Whistlers Campground: Trailers and RVs only. No tents.
- 20 sites with power, water, sewer and showers. No fire pits. Maximum occupancy per site: 4 people. Monthly fees: $598.50
- 31sites with power and showers. No fire pits. Maximum occupancy per site: 4 people. Monthly fees: $545.50
Sleepy Hollow: Trailers and RVs only. No tents
- 20 sites with power. No showers and no fire pits. Maximum occupancy per site: 4 people. Monthly fees: $500.00
Information collected in this process is used for the administration of the Jasper residents and seasonal staff camping program. This information will be shared with the Jasper Recovery Coordination Centre (JRCC), which is jointly administered by Parks Canada and the Municipality of Jasper
The following information will be collected:
- Primary applicant name and contact information
- Campsite occupant names, ages, employers and occupations
- Camping unit information and vehicle information
