Name the Puppy contest

Every year the RCMP Police Dog Service Training Centre (PDSTC) in Innisfail, Alberta, holds a contest for children in Canada to help find names for future police dogs. The 13 winners come from every province and territory.

The RCMP will collect a limited amount of information (such as your email address) when you enter the Name the Puppy contest.

The personal information collected is described in Personal Information Bank PSU 914 – Public Communications or PSU 938 – Outreach Activities. Under the Privacy Act you have the right of access to, and correction of, your personal information. To exercise either of these rights, contact RCMP's Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator. If you are not satisfied with the RCMP's response to your privacy concern, you may wish to Contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
