Report an act of foreign corruption
If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, call 9-1-1 (if available) or contact your local emergency services or police immediately.
Corruption and bribery affect society everywhere. They can drive up the cost of goods and services, reduce public trust, and threaten health, safety, and fair competition. Anyone can be affected, whether in Canada or abroad.
Who to contact
Contact your local police if the corruption involves:
- Local businesses
- Municipal or provincial/state government employees
- Municipal or provincial/state government institutions
Report it to the RCMP's International Anti-Corruption Team if it involves:
- Canadian businesses or individuals offering bribes to foreign public officials
Note: Even if the incident happens outside Canada, you can report it to the RCMP if a Canadian person, company, or institution is involved.
