The personal information you provide on this form is collected under the authority of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act s.10(2)(e).
Your information is being collected for the purpose of managing your participation in the resultant directory, facilitating your participation, and coordinating event logistics for the Textile Exchange Conference 2026. This includes facilitating business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking and networking during the event.
Personal information to be collected includes:
- Your name;
- Your contact information;
- Your professional/organizational affiliation and job title;
- Company description;
- Your opinions and views;
Your personal information may be shared internally within Global Affairs Canada (GAC) to evaluate the success of the event. Your information may also be shared with international companies recruited by the Trade Commissioner Service to participate in programming associated with the Textile Exchange Conference.
Providing your personal information is voluntary.
The personal information collected for this event is described in the standard Personal Information Bank (PIB) Outreach Activities, PSU 938.
You have the right to the protection of, access to, and correction of your personal information. These rights are protected under the Privacy Act.
