Student Border Services Officer Information session registration

Are you a full-time post-secondary student looking for an exciting job at the Canada Border Services Agency?

Our application process that is open now in 2026 is for a position to work for summer 2027.

Student Border Services Officers (SBSO) protect Canada's security and economy by facilitating admissible people and goods, while supporting national security and public safety priorities.

This is not a desk job. As a uniformed officer, you will work in a fast-paced, challenging work environment, facilitating  admissible people and goods into Canada. If you are interested in becoming a border services officer (BSO), then working as an SBSO is the perfect introduction.

Preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents over non‑Canadian students who are eligible to work in Canada. See the Directive on Student Employment for more information on the Government of Canada's requirements for student employment.

Deadline to apply: September 17, 2026

Registration for each event closes 24 hours prior to the event.

The meeting link will be sent the day before the event.  Please ensure to verify your junk folder as well.

Please note that our virtual MS teams events are capped at 300 attendees.

Late arrivals will not be admitted into the session.
