Complaint Form - Office of the Federal Ombudsperson for Victims of Crime (OFOVC)

You may fill out our secure online complaint form to make a complaint to the OFOVC. Please note that our Office can only address complaints from victims of crimes committed by offenders under federal jurisdiction (serving sentences of two years or more). We can also identify and review emerging and systemic issues that negatively impact victims of crime.

It is collected under the authority of the Federal Ombudsperson for Victims of Crime Order in Council P.C. 2007-355 for the purpose of review and resolution of your complaint. Personal information is protected under the provisions of the Privacy Act. If you have any questions or concerns about the management of your personal information by the OFOVC, please contact our Access to Information and Privacy Office by emailing ATIP-AIP@justice.gc.ca. You may also file a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner.
