Privacy Notice

We will require your personal information in order to contact you regarding the receipt of emails for the purpose of:

• Providing information on the A-OTHR program; and/or
• Providing updates to Events tied to the A-OTHR program

Any personal information you provide to DND/CAF is governed in accordance with the Privacy Act. The collection of personal information for Outreach and Engagement purposes is conducted under the authority of s.4 of the National Defence Act.

Personal information collected to schedule a call or event with an individual may be used for program evaluation, reporting, audit, research or statistical analysis. In limited and specific situations, your personal information may be disclosed without your consent in accordance with subsection 8(2) of the Privacy Act.

Personal information collected is described in Standard Personal Information Bank PSU 938 (Outreach Activities). For the purposes of CAF Outreach and Engagement for this project, personal information collected is retained for three years after the engagement event and then destroyed.

Under the Privacy Act, you have the right to access your personal information and request corrections to your personal information.
