This information will be treated confidentially and will not be shared by the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, except as required by the environmental petitions process. When copies of petitions are requested by the public, all personal information will be redacted.
Petition information will be summarized and published on the Office of the Auditor General of Canada’s Environmental Petitions web page and will include the petitioner’s city and province. Information provided within environmental petitions may be used internally for analysis.
The petition title, the province that the petition originated from, and the petition’s general subject matter may be reported to Parliament in the Environmental Petitions Annual Report.
