Special Initiative: Soccer-themed activities for Celebrate Canada 2026
The collection of personal information is authorized by the sections 4(2)b), 4(2)k.1) and 5 of the Department of Canadian Heritage Act and is required to provide funding to eligible groups across Canada who are celebrating: National Indigenous Peoples Day, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, Canadian Multiculturalism Day and Canada Day.
Collection and use of this personal information are in accordance with the Privacy Act. The program will use this personal information to determine the eligibility of the applicant organization to the funding. The personal information collected is described in Personal Information Bank Information about programs and information holdings - Canada.ca and will be retained for six (6) years. Failure to provide all required information may result in your application not being processed. Under the Privacy Act you have the right of access to, and correction of, your personal information.
