Simplified media permit application

The simplified media permit is a special activity permit designed for small-scale media productions. Any media productions being carried out in the marine park or on one of the four observation centres managed by Parks Canada* and meeting the five criteria below may apply for a simplified media permit. If your project does not meet all these criteria, you must obtain a special activity permit before carrying out your project, and fees may apply.

A media production refers to the creation of content intended for the public, distributed for professional purposes through media such as television, radio, the web, print press or social networks.

All requests must be submitted at least 10 business days before the first day of production. No fees apply.
